PUSH rounds off 2017 with a new double-headliner issue, celebrating an inspiring year from two of our favourite artists.

2017 saw East London’s J Hus release his infectious debut album ‘Common Sense’, solidifying his skills as a songwriter and garnering international acclaim. On the eve of his first ever London show, which sold out in just a few minutes, we sent Aniefiok “Neef” Ekpoudom to sit down with the Hussla himself to reflect on fame and fortune.

“All I care about is the music: I don’t want the fame, I don’t want nothing.”
- J HUS

And, after years of perfecting her sound, Manchester’s IAMDDB has watched her hard work finally begin to pay off. In her first ever cover story, IAMDDB sits down with writer Felicity Martin to discuss the unique blend of trap, soul and jazz that’s allowed her to cut through the noise and gain recognition as one of the UK’s most hotly tipped acts for 2018.

“We ain't gonna be here forever, so we need to make history while we're here.”
- IAMDDB

Both covers are shot by PUSH photography editor Vicky Grout, and introduce our new format which splits the magazine down the middle, offering a cover feature on either side.

Also featured in this issue are Ty Dolla $ign, Jessie Reyez, Rich The Kid, Mahalia, DJ Semtex, Cook Daily, Lunice, Ryan Hawaii, 808INK, Denzel Himself, Jae5, MIKE, Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins and Stacey Savannah Keenan.
